Introduction

Dr. Piyush Shukla is trained as a Radiation Oncologist. In his oncological career spanning over a decade, more than 5000 cancer patients have been treated and healed. In present times cancer is no more labeled as just a physiological ailment, but more of a multidisciplinary disease. It demands physical, mental and emotional care of a patient that enhances not only his/her existence but also the overall quality of life. Dr. Piyush Shukla thus committed in providing the best comprehensive care with deep compassion and dedication towards every individual suffering from the challenging disease.

Trained in the best cancer centers across India, Dr.Shukla has garnered experiences as the Resident of Radiation and Clinical Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi, and Resident at the Jawahar Lal Cancer Institute, Bhopal. With the intention of serving his cancer and terminally ill patients better, he has also earned Fellowship in Palliative and Pain Care- which is a rare domain of medical expertise available in small cities and towns.

Work Experience

More than twelve years ago Dr. Shukla started his M.D. as a Radiation Oncologist. He then went on serving at different parts of India to a varied demography suffering from cancer. From ‘Namco Cancer Trust Hospital’ at Nasik- Maharashtra to ‘Royal Cancer Hospital and Institute’ at Kanpur- Uttar Pradesh he has served all. AIIMS Delhi, GMC Bhopal, Apollo Hospitals- Bhilai and Narayana Hridualaya-Raipur also make to the list.

Since 2014, he is appointed as the Chief and Head Radiation Oncologist at the ‘Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Care, (CBCC)’ Raipur Unit in the state of Chhattisgarh.

Vision

For Dr.Shukla medical profession is a service to mankind- not a mere practice of medicines. He believes that the profession demands wisdom over intelligence and integrity over knowledge. A deep empathy and humane attitude has always enabled him to come up with the best and comprehensive care in cancer domain. ‘Every individual is a valuable life’- is his mantra towards healing them with a smile.
